This Week in Valuart: All about Skygolpe's Valuart Solos and Fakewhale's upcoming NEW BLOOD Release

GM, the Valuart Newsletter is out! ☕

This week's highlights include a retrospective of Skygolpe's Valuart Solos exhibition from last week, a special Fakewhale Cross curated drop to watch out for, and last but certainly not least, an introduction to the newest artist set to mint in the Fakewhale Vault — Ruben Fro.

Valuart Solos x Skygolpe: An Overview of the IRL Display of Subversive Synthesis & Intersecting Mindscapes.

Skygolpe, a renowned digital artist particularly within the NFT domain, is known for his faceless portraits that seamlessly merge physical layers with digital elements. His groundbreaking "Paint on Pixel'' project, which ventured into physical art in 2022, was auctioned at Christie's and significantly boosted his prominence in the art market. This accomplishment positioned him among the top 100 digital artists worldwide.

Skygolpe's work explores the intersection of the digital and physical realms, providing insights into technology's impact on society and art through the lens of blockchain. His art has been showcased in prestigious galleries and institutions worldwide, including Palazzo Giustinian, Art Dubai, Christie’s NY, Art Basel Miami, Museo della Permanente, Valuart, Galerie Widmer, and Nighttimestory.

From Friday, May 12th to Sunday, May 14th, Valuart Solos presented Skygolpe's exhibition, a real-life display of subversive synthesis and intersecting mindscapes.

At the heart of this exhibition lies Skygolpe's exploration of Freedom approached from a machine's perspective — a lens that fosters new levels of perception and self-discovery.

And there was no better composition to act as the unifying centerpiece for this eclectic collection of works from the last year and a half than the 'Lost Signals' triptych, which took center stage within the gallery.

“In this exhibition the concept that I explore more, is the concept of freedom. And I was trying to see freedom not from our point of view, but almost as if by checking freedom from the point of view of the machine, we could actually finally be free to see who we are”

— Skygolpe
