Learn about Fabio Giampietro's "The Lift - NoMa Edition" & Eternal Nexus Release

During Art Basel Valuart Studio teamed up with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to showcase Fabio Giampietro’s "The Lift", a multi-sensory installation within NoMa.

This immersive experience coincided with the release of “Eternal Nexus” on NMKR

— an NFT in support of UNHCR's global relief efforts.

"Eternal Nexus" offers an immersive portrayal of a realm that mirrors Earth, wherein continents ingeniously transmute into intertwined cityscapes, a direct manifestation of human endeavors.

Viewed through the sea's transparent veil, the shared underpinnings of these urban continents come to light, revealing that, notwithstanding their distinct identities, these vast metropolises originate from a singular source.

What unfolds is our collective journey, gently prompting contemplation on the profound bonds of our common heritage and the integral unity that threads the tapestry of humanity.

A work of art such as this serves as a symbolic lifeline reaching out to the over 100 million people forcibly displaced worldwide.

Drop dynamics:

Consisting of an open edition, you can acquire this work on NMKR until July 16th, at a fixed price of $40

All proceeds will go towards UNHCR through WRFGS, its official stake pool.

Skygolpe x Paint On Pixel II: An Overview of The Public Opening

The "Paint On Pixel II" solo exhibition was an exciting continuation of Skygolpe's innovative journey into the unique intersection of digital and physical art.

On June 14th, the collection made its public debut at the stunning Bar Rouge, situated on the 30th floor of the Messeturm skyscraper, offering an incredible view over the Art Basel fair.

Each artwork - a desktop rich in digital fragments - explores the intricate paradoxes of the human condition, undergoing iterative cycles of scanning, printing, and painting.

Paint On Pixel II Solo Exhibition by Skygolpe - Bar Rouge

“The concept was to capture a snapshot of this time, without necessarily imprinting a specific viewpoint, but rather recreating a sort of suspension. The suspension that we for example all feel while we’re browsing; where messages and inputs are constantly influencing our subconscious” — Skygolpe

Valuart Solos presents Chepertom [ June 23rd - June 25th ]

From June 23rd-25th, Valuart Solos proudly presents Chepertom, a glitch-centric IRL exhibition revealing the complex beauty of digital distortions.

A glitch artist born in Brest, France, Thomas Collet aka Chepertom challenges aesthetics, taking viewers on a trip through the complex, often unobserved processes involved in the creation of digital imagery.

Raised in Strasbourg and later trained at La Cambre in Brussels, Belgium, his work is grounded in his experiences and explorations across varied media - from drawing and engraving to installations and video.

In a world where perfection is relentlessly sought after, Chepertom challenges conventional perceptions, finding beauty in error, and perfection in the imperfections of the digital realm.

Stay tuned as we continue to reveal more on the exhibition throughout the week on our official Twitter profile, and don’t forget to rsvp at [email protected] to attend this RAD exhibition!

Today Fakewhale Cross presents GENERATIVE

Today marks an unmissable event: "GENERATIVE" a curated release by Fakewhale featuring esteemed generative artists including Andy Duboc, Antonio Werli, Bjørn Staal, Eliza SJ, Frederik Vanhoutte, Mark Webster, Melissa Wiederrecht, Qubibi, Stefano Contiero, and Yazid.

With this release, Fakewhale aims to expand conventional perspectives on the way generative art is typically presented to the market, in keeping with their commitment to upholding originality.

Generative artists are known for their extensive releases that beautifully align with the inherent qualities of generative art — each artwork, a testimony to infinite potential, cultivates a fertile space for innovation. For this precise reason, Fakewhale envisions an intermingled realm where artists flourish, seamlessly connecting digital art with its many manifestations within blockchains.

Uniquely, for this drop, the artworks were released as a theme-free series of multiple editions, allowing each piece to stand out with its own creative merit.

GENERATIVE goes live today, June 21st at 6 pm CET / 12 pm ET

During the wait, you can get a sneak peek at the works in this dedicated thread:
